God and your business

The problem with us humans is, we think we are it! Our arrogance sometimes knows no bounds. Our behaviour is revealing. We tend to think we are THE alpha and the omega of life, yet there are many things in life and nature we cannot even replicate, much less protect ourselves from some calamities. We are blessed that the God of the Universe isn’t fickle like us, and sometimes does not have to prove Himself to us.

Doing without Him is choosing to operate in the dark. We can deny Him however much we care, but we cannot live without Him. We must learn to know and understand Him and involve Him in all aspects of our lives, more so in businesses because of the impact business has on the lives of many. I have moved beyond having to justify my faith in the Trinity God. I have experienced His work in my life that I have chosen to not spend any more energy justifying my belief in Him and believing Him. Therefore, I am writing to those interested in moving their lives, particularly their business lives to the next performance level.

Involve God in all your affairs. Do not treat Him like a genie, only talking to Him when you want something from Him or when in trouble or need of blessings. Learn to have intimate fellowship with Him and in all aspects of your life. He is more real than the reality of your own existence.

His Word is not bluffing or misleading when it commands believers to commit all their plans to Him and He will establish you. That’s how real He is. He is interested in guiding and leading you in your endeavours. He can help develop your business strategy and choices you make. He can confirm or redirect your activities.

I wish it were all a lie that He is unreal. I wish it were all about the utterances of a madman. But not at all! I am more than happy being declared mentally unwell, but my unwellness is giving me the peace I have never enjoyed in my life. I wish I trusted Him with my life, and having more intimate fellowship with Him much earlier in my life.  I wonder what my life would have looked like had I done so.

But I am glad that He can turn even the worst ruin into the most precious thing. So, nothing is lost of what remains of my life. I wish I could put out a challenge out there, daring you to invite me in your life’s challenges so we can walk this journey together, and help you see for yourself what I’m talking about. I can only encourage you to try it for yourself and see.

But don’t do it from a selfish perspective, wanting gain without commitment. Having Him in your life does not mean you won’t experience setbacks, losses or calamities. You are better off experiencing those with Him than without. For some, He can shield them from such unpalatable life circumstances, but for many, we are not indemnified from experiencing them.

But who is to argue against His choices for the lives of each and every one of us? He is sovereign, the standard of goodness and righteousness that our human mind sometimes cannot comprehend.

Yes, sometimes we cannot accept that He can will some things we deem unpalatable. By His Will, it does not mean He orchestrates the occurrence of the undesirable. It usually means He permits its occurrence.

His Word makes it clear that He created everything in six literal days and declared that creation as being perfect. Since then, He chose to cocreate with His most valued of creation: human beings. Meaning, as part of showing His glory, He left technological developments and advancements to cocreation with human beings. Man is His vessel through which technological advancements are enabled.

Take it or leave. It does not matter what we think. Well, it is what it is. Just do yourself a favour, involve God in all your affairs, leaving nothing out. Exploit His omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence to your advantage so your moves, as directed by Him, don’t leave you in the dark.

Be different.
